Regional Director - Lindy Morrison
Lindy Morrison holds a Masters Degree in Environment and Development. She has over twenty years of experience in community development. She has worked with KwaZulu-Natal Town and Regional Planning Commission, Community Agency for Social Enquiry (CASE) and the International Labour Office (ILO), evaluating the performance of the Community Based Public Works in South Africa. She combines a detailed knowledge of rural sustainable livelihoods with a broad background of community facilitation. She worked for Group for Environmental Monitoring, where she managed projects on conservation and development in South Africa, community-based tourism development, environmental economics, soil erosion prevention, community empowerment, land-use management and land claims. Lindy has been managing Mvula's Durban Office since 2001, striving to ensure that projects implemented by The Mvula Trust focus on the maximization of community benefits from service delivery interventions and policy changes.
